The Rest of July

So I've been slacking a bit... here's what we were up to the last couple weeks of July:

Swim Lessons

I learned that you get what you pay for when it comes to swimming, and after 2 weeks we have a confident little fish instead of the scared crying girl we started with! We are so proud of Naomi and thankful for her new found skill! Of course, Ava thinks she knows how to swim after watching Naomi's lessons for 2 weeks. She's a bit too brave!

Gardening

We've been blessed with more produce than we imagined. Steve definitely gets the Super Green thumb Award because without him I'd have a bunch of half dead plants and not veggies!

Softball
Steve ended his umteenth year on a church softball team. Cow Creek finished third and the guys had a good time playing together. The girls and I had a great time cheering them on and visiting with our friends. This is what I call great family fun!

Mini Me

At our house everyone (except Steve) wants to be pregnant. Here's Naomi and me (22 weeks prego). Our house is one of the few places in the world where its "cool" to be expecting, although at church our son will be the 8th of 9 babies expected in 2008. Fun!

Back from Southern Oregon: The Traditional Picture

Every time Steve's mom comes to CA we take this picture, but as you can see our family is getting too big to fit on the couch! We had a wonderful week together. Great family time goes by way too fast!

Southern Oregon: Hellgate Jet Boat Excursion

We had tons of fun getting soaked on the Rogue River! Who knew a boat with 80 people could stop on a dime and do 360s?! This is definitely a must do again!

Southern Oregon: Sunstone Mining

We were at the Spectrum Sunstone Mine for about 3 minutes before Ava was covered in dirt! We found some treasures but mostly had fun getting dirty and just being with family!

If you open this last picture you can see Ava if you look closely through the motor home window. She was one tired rock hound!

Southern Oregon: Our Family Trip

It all started with a couple of stowaways from Florida....

Then we all jumped in the MacAdam Motorhome for a family adventure!

Yes, Naomi is sleeping with a rock in her ear... its hereditary.

My "baby" is almost 2!

Ava enjoying a "nectawine." I added a cute video of this to YouTube also. "I can't believe it" is one of her favorite sayings. When she saw this picture of herself she said, "Dats Aya!" The "v doesn't quite make it out yet. When she wakes up she has to bring her baby Tammy, teddy and ducky and blankie with her to rock in the chair. I don't know how but sometimes she also manages to carry her milk cup too! She is a delight and a blessing, and we're very blessed to be her parents!
