A TOOTH!

Ava's first tooth arrived March 6 and another one is working it's way to the top. Isn't she cute, crusty nose and all?!

New Additions

These are our new chicks from McMurray Hatchery. They mailed them live! Cool, huh?! They're doing quite well despite all the love and attention from Naomi. This morning I woke up to cheeping next to my bed and Naomi saying, "Look Mommy! A Chicky!" Later she told me she climbed into their box. Yikes! Needless to say the gate to the chicks will be closed from now on. No unsupervised visits for Naomi!

Funny with my pal Micah

Micah is Naomi's best bud from down the street. He's moving next Saturday (WAAAA!) with his family to Santa Cruz County. Pray for Naomi as she adjusts to not having him here and pray for me as I try to explain it and miss my great friend Sharron (Micah's Mommy).

The Girls and their GREAT Grandma Ardis

It was a joy and a blessing to stay with Grandma Ardis! She's a wonderful host and no matter what she may tell you, she is and will forever be an AWESOME COOK! Plus, she has stairs which pretty much kept Naomi busy the entire time. Good thing she's only 25 lbs or else she may have worn holes in the carpet from going up and down and up and down...well, you get the idea.

Also, Ava is 7 MONTHS OLD today!

Naomi & Ava's First Trip to the Zoo

While in the Homeland we visited the Chaffee Zoo with Nana & Papa Tex (aka my Mom & Tex). I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, them or Naomi! And yes that is a picture of her feeding a giraffe. If you ask her she'll tell you all about it. There's also a video version, just click on the "Watson Family Movies" link to the left.
